Apollo After School Care

Apollo After School Program provides an affordable, safe and reliable option to parents who are unable to pick-up their child/children right after school, up until 6 pm.

Apollo Attendance Info: If your child will be absent from the Apollo program, please send an email/text with the Subject: Attendance - Apollo to: dragons2545@gmail.com or call 773.318.5683.

Apollo After School handles registration for Hatch ES Apollo parents completely. Please note the following:

  • Apollo After School has 5 Customer Service Representatives that are available for questions and concerns from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm CST

  • If you have any questions regarding registration or the wait-list, please visit our website.

More details on Apollo:
  1. Apollo runs from 3 pm to 6 pm (except Wed, from 2:30pm-6pm), during full school days.

  2. It follows D97 calendar, and there is no Apollo on half-days, holidays and Institute days, or if school closes for inclement weather conditions.

  3. Hatch PTO parent volunteer coordinate the relationship between Apollo After School care and PTO.

  4. Apollo After School offices handles the registration, wait-list, payments and any questions/concerns about staff and program.

  5. There are limited scholarships available for families that qualify for free/reduced lunch program

  6. Apollo is a private provider that offers their service at Hatch.

  7. The educators at Apollo are professionals who come from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines and have a track record of managing after school programs.

  8. Apollo educators come to classrooms at Hatch to help kids with a variety of educational activities. Crafts, outside playground time, and help with homework is offered.

  9. Kids’ day:

  10. After school bell, kids go to auditorium for a snack for 15 minutes (please send nut free snack with your child)

  11. After 15 minutes, students are escorted to their Apollo classrooms that will be their home-base for the day.

  12. Open communication between Apollo teachers and parents is key to success. Apollo PTO volunteer team is here to help with any questions or problems that might come up. The Apollo program managers are always looking for feedback to provide the best care possible.
